John Henshaw, Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA has issued a compliance memorandum to all OSHA Regional Administrators on the ORC Study. He has advised that OSHA will now enforce a 1000 APF for those respirators participating in the study. This applies only to individuals working in the pharmaceutical industry in particulate hazards, and using the respirator properly.
