A comfortable positive pressure airline respirator, Bullard's FAMB presents a simple means of supplying clean air to workers. Available with both pressure demand and continuous flow approvals, FAMB provides a continuous airflow to workers operating in environments that are contaminated with dusts, mists, gases and vapors.
FAMB airline respirators are approved by MSHA/NIOSH for use in Type C applications, including: spray painting and coating operations

Features and Benefits
Comfortable
* Bullard's FAMB half mask, available in three sizes, features a soft, flexible silicone facepiece that conforms to the worker's face. The double exhalation valve system offers minimal breathing resistance and reduces worker fatigue, increasing productivity.
Low Air Pressure Requirement
* Specifically designed for use with low pressure air sources such as Bullard Free-Air® pumps, the respirator operates efficiently at air pressures between 15-20 psig (103-138 kPa), depending on hose length. FAMB respirators are also approved for use with high pressure air sources, such as breathing air compressors.
More Protection
* The FAMB respirator provides a higher degree of protection than negative pressure air purifying respirators. Because FAMB is an airline respirator, there is no need to maintain or buy expensive filter cartridges.
Wide Field of Vision
* The low-profile facepiece allows a wide field of vision and easily accommodates workers wearing prescription or safety glasses. FAMB can be worn under faceshields, visors and some welding helmets.
Component Concept
The FAMB airline respirator consists of three Bullard components: all must be present and properly assembled to constitute a complete MSHA/NIOSH-approved respirator.

WARNING
The FAMB airline respirator must be supplied with clean, breathable air, Grade D or better, at all times. Supplied breathing air must at least meet the requirements for Type 1 gaseous air described in the Compressed Gas Association Commodity Specifications G-7.1 (Grade D or higher quality), as described by Federal Law CFR, Part 84, Subpart J, 84.141 (b).
This respirator does not purify air or filter out contaminants. FAMB respirators are not approved for use in any atmosphere immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or from which the wearer cannot escape without the use of a respirator.
