Bullard Hires Thermal Imaging Training Manager

Bullard is proud to introduce the newest member of the fire safety team – Jonathan Bastian, Thermal Imaging Training Manager. Jonathan moves into this position from his post as a Bullard Regional Sales Manager working out of Rockford, Ill. In this position, he covered six states and specialized in thermal imaging and fire safety products.
Educated at Brown University and licensed as a high school teacher in Illinois, Jonathan has served twelve years on North Park Fire Department, including the last three as a captain. As Health and Safety Officer, he led the development and implementation of the Department’s Rapid Intervention Team SOG. Jonathan is a certified Fire Instructor I and Firefighter III, and he spent 12 years as an EMT-I/D. In 1997, he was nominated for the Illinois Governor’s Firefighter Medal of Honor.
As Bullard’s Thermal Imaging Training Manager, Jonathan will work with local and state training facilities to develop thermal imaging training programs, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that firefighters have the knowledge necessary to safely and efficiently use Bullard Thermal Imagers. Within the company, he will train Bullard’s field sales force and distributors so they can more effectively instruct their customers on the basics of thermal imaging.
