Cynthiana, Kentucky – Bullard once again sets the standard in firefighter head protection with a Bullard Tough traditional helmet designed specifically for the US firefighter. The NEW UST is more of everything the fire service demands, from fit and function to durability and delivery. Bullard UST comes complete with a new Stars and Stripes Brass Eagle that will accommodate any competitor’s leather front, NEW 6"leather fronts that are compatible with any traditional helmet, and the NEW Bullard Bourke eyeshields.
The NEW Bullard Tough UST can be enhanced with a variety of new 5 and 6-inch custom leather fronts, optically correct visors, goggles, and neck protectors to equip your fire department with complete head, face and neck protection to meet your specific applications. Helmets are shipped within 2 weeks after receipt of an order, including the leather front.
Firefighters who don the UST will immediately note a vast improvement in comfort over other helmets available on the US market. With a lower center of gravity, the UST keeps weight evenly distributed and holds the helmet stable on the head. The versatile sizing system includes a height adjustment feature, as well as Bullard’s exclusive Sure-Lock® ratchet headband that fits to the size of the wearer’s head with a quick turn of the knob.
