TI training and fire management just got easier. The latest innovation by Bullard, the SceneCatcher™, allows fire firefighters to use a thermal imager to simultaneously take snapshots and videos of the images they see when entering a scene.

How does it work? Giving firefighters the capability to assist in fire management, the Bullard SceneCatcher is a digital video recorder that captures 60 minutes of video, as well as 300 still images from the Bullard Thermal Imager. It enables a greater capability not only in sizing up and managing a situation, but also for study during overhaul. The Bullard SceneCatcher presents firefighters with superior technology and flexibility in fire management.

Allowing firefighters to show actual scenes from a fire, trainees are able to see examples of how fires may appear on the TI, making it the ultimate tool in training presentations. The digital images and videos download easily through a USB connection to a computer for use in analysis and recording of evidence.

Housed in a handle which can also include a transmitter, the unit mounts easily on Bullard T3 and T4 series thermal imagers. With the optional two-channel transmitter, firefighters can send images and video from a single camera and transmit to one or more receiving devices, such as the Bullard MobileLink handheld receiver.
