2008 Assistance to Firefighter Grant Application
Period Opens Today!

The 2008 US Department of Homeland Security grant, Assistance to Firefighters grant application period officially opened today at 8 a.m. (EDT). If your department is in need of funding for equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, training or other resources, now is your opportunity to apply!

Congress has appropriated $560,000,000 to the Department of Homeland Security to carry out the activities of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. The application period will officially close on April 4th at 5 p.m. (EDT).
