Bullard Introduces Thermal Imaging Online Training
Bullard has expanded its value-added services by offering firefighters a new state-of-the-art online thermal imaging training program. This in-depth online training is the first offered by a thermal imaging manufacturer and is a free service. It covers the complete line of Bullard Thermal Imagers for the fire service including the T4, T3Max, T320/T3Max+, and T3XT. The six lessons take participants step-by-step through:
Beginning this month, Bullard will provide the training on a CD with every Bullard Thermal Imager sold. This allows customers the option of accessing the training online or through CD. The online training can be accessed by visiting www.bullard.com/trainonline.
On the evening of October 7, the crew of Engine 151 responded to a structure fire in an apartment complex where a woman was trapped inside her bedroom. Firefighters used a Bullard T4 Thermal Imager to see through the heavy smoke and quickly identify where the woman was in the room. “We found her immediately using the thermal imager,” said Lieutenant Mike Swanson. “The thermal imager took minutes off a normal room search. It’s a great feeling knowing you saved a life,” Swanson added. To nominate someone for the Save-A-Life Club, visit www.bullard.com.
