2008 Thermal Imaging Grants Announced

As the New Year continues to roll on, it’s that time of year again to start applying for grants. One might even say, “Grant season” is officially upon us. And, just as seasons are sure to change, so are specifications for grants, such as application periods, available funding, guidelines and much more. To make sure you’re up-to-date on thermal imaging grant specifics, we’ve listed a few recent grant opportunities to point you in the right direction toward obtaining funding for your department.

2008 Urban Area Security Initiative
The Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) provides funding support for target hardening activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of international terrorist attacks.

2008 Buffer Zone Protection Program (BZPP)
The Buffer Zone Protection Program (BZPP) is a targeted infrastructure protection program that provides funding to build security and risk management capabilities at the state and local level.

2008 Emergency Management Performance Grant
The Emergency Management Grant provides critical assistance to sustain and enhance state and local emergency management capabilities by supporting personnel, planning, equipment, training and exercises.

Set an earlier personal deadline to give yourself some extra time. Stick to this deadline as if it were the actual one. This will cut down the chances of a last minute rush or missing your deadline completely.
