Features & Benefits
Nomex Material
The lightweight outer hood, made from Nomex®, protects the wearer’s entire head, face, and neck from sparks and airborne particles. The inner bib, made from flame-retardant cotton, is an added protective barrier. The GR50 hood is washable.
Comfortable and Lightweight Fit
Weighing only 16 oz (475g), the GR50 is a lightweight alternative for workers accustomed to wearing heavier hard-shell respirators during grinding.
The GR50 performs well in tight spaces with its flexible hood and inner window that enhances the wearer’s mobility.
The inner window is made of 0.040’’ polycarbonate and can stand up to temperatures up to 250°F.
The hood’s flexibility accommodates beards, hearing protection, prescription eye wear, or safety glasses.
Maximum Visibility
Wide-angle face shield and headband suspension system are positioned to create the maximum viewing area.
Replacement outer lens helps protect the inner lens from sparks and debris, extending the usable life cycle of the product.
Breathing Protection
Continuous airflow is delivered through a unique neck-cuff, maintaining positive pressure inside the hood to help keep contaminants out.
