The 3-Rib S61 is a cap style hard hat with a 4-point Flex-Gear® ratchet suspension, designed to protect the head from falling objects and bumps into stationary objects. The S61 includes a suspension that drops below the nape of the head, improving retention. Connect the optional chinstrap to ensure the hat remains on the head during a slip, trip, or fall event. The Vector Type II helmet provides enhanced protection against both top and lateral impacts. They are designed to reduce the force of an impact from falling objects and from the side. This also includes where swinging objects (such as hooks or chains) are a concern.
