Cafeteria Clerk

Job Summary

In general, the Cafeteria Clerk is responsible for preparing and arranging food and beverages, coordinating special event meals for employees and guests of the company.  The Cafeteria Clerk will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and healthful cafeteria in accordance to all food safety regulations. 

Essential Functions

  • Follow all regulatory requirements for safe food handling
  • Greet employees and provide friendly and prompt customer service
  • Provide service and meals in a timely manner
  • Provide catering services for special meals and food service requests
  • Operate cash register
  • Other duties as required.

  • Stock and clean all vending machines
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and cafeteria
  • Provide catering services for special meals and food service requests
  • Operate cash register
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to cafeteria customers
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications 

Education/Training

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Safe Foodservice Handler Certification (or be willing to complete within 90 days)

 

Skills/Experience

  •  Ability to work in a fast paced environment  
  •  Ability to work as a team
  •  Provide excellent customer service
  •  Ability to multi-task
