Bullard is seeking a Director of Sales – Americas who will develop and empower a successful strategic sales team to drive business growth in the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets. This sales leader is responsible for Industrial Health and Safety and Emergency Responders sales in the Americas. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will be a part of the senior leadership team and commercial team and will work collaboratively with all disciplines including marketing, product development, finance, operations and HR. S/he will have ultimate responsibility for a flexible, yet disciplined and professional, sales organization focused on revenue growth, profitability, and a value-added solution selling approach.

The ideal candidate must identify areas for expansion to build on the current success at Bullard and drive continued growth. It is critical that this person have the intellectual horsepower and dynamic work ethic that defines the core of Bullard and the senior leadership team. The successful candidate must keep his or her finger on the pulse of rapidly evolving markets and industry trends, while ensuring Bullard remains close to our core markets and always puts the experience of our end users first.

Experience & Qualifications:
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performance sales team
• Demonstrated experience in building and fostering relationships across an organization internally to ensure additional market growth and the promotion of comprehensive solutions offerings to customers
• Proven experience to deliver results through a distribution channel go-to-market sales strategy
• Ability to interact with and deliver solutions to an executive audience
• Develops exceptional solutions with a consultative mindset; ensuring the customer experience and offerings deliver results to meet the customers’ needs
• Demonstrated delivery to drive solutions that optimize business portfolio, with both legacy and new product launches, for results
• Possess experience managing diverse and geographically remote teams
• Showcased success with strong agility skills and capacity to deal with shifting priorities
• Proven ability to deliver unparalleled persuasion, sales influence, and closing skills
• Exhibit leadership that motivates the sales team, inspires strategic direction, secures and deploys resources appropriately, cultivates relationships with customers and internal teams, ensures the fulfillment of all contract commitments, and sustains exemplary customer satisfaction and retention
• Demonstrated success in achieving goals and attaining targets
• Employ both tactical and strategic go-to-market models aimed at growing the customer base both in the short term and long term to drive higher revenues, customer growth, and customer retention
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
• Excellent presentation skills

Required Skills and Core Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in Sales Management, preferably working directly with distribution channels
• As a key member of the senior leadership team and commercial team, assess, build, and develop individual and team capabilities, ready to scale in support of Bullard’s accelerated growth plans
• Lead with facts and data by accurately forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievement
• Responsible for driving development and retention of sales team while creating a collaborative environment that is positive and productive
• Manage customer satisfaction, ensuring sales team is responsive to customer needs
• Ensure that sales team is focused on selling based on value to customer, features, and function
• Represent Bullard at appropriate customer meetings and trade shows
• Drive to exceed Key Performance Measures including sales achievement to plan, bookings, accurate regional forecasting, and profitability
