Electronics Technician

Come join our amazing Bullard Team! We are currently searching for an Electronics Technician  to join our Quality Team

The Electronics Technicians’ responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair of electronic and mechanical components and assisting with engineering resolution. They will also assist in analyzing data and identifying solutions to improve product performance and user experience. This position supports the manufacturing of thermal imaging products and assists with implementing the Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to ensure that Bullard’s current thermal imaging product line meets our customers’ highest standards of excellence
  • Assist with troubleshooting Respiratory electrical products
  • Consult with technology suppliers to continuously improve electronic products
  • Develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts to verify designs utilizing statistical methods
  • Interpret industry standards as they relate to new or sustaining design efforts (EMC, CE, NFPA, IS, IPC, etc.)
  • Complete risk analyses, Failure Modes Effects Analyses (FMEAs), and design reviews, to verify that a design meets or exceeds product specifications
  • Maintain production efficiency and product quality in accordance with organizational goals
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications: 

  • Preferred 2+ years practical experience in an electronic technician support position
  • Experience with embedded software
  • Experience in collaborative designing with Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering
  • Lean and Six Sigma experience
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Knowledge and experience with APQP
  • Experience in injection molding with production processes, quality controls, and other techniques for the effective manufacture and processing of goods
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, products, components, and applications by conducting research and applying knowledge of electricity and materials
  • Maintain, review, and update quality documents
  • Strong ability to read and interpret product drawings both in English and Metric

Education / Training:

  • AS or AAS degree in an Electronics related field or equivalent education

The role will be based at Bullard’s Cynthiana, Kentucky location.
