Inside Sales Specialist

Summary

Responsible for managing the profitability of products and sales within their markets. Implementation and evaluation of all product line sales objectives, strategies and tactics. Formulate and carry out all organizational policies and programs related to the company’s strategic growth plan.

This position involves selling the full portfolio of head protection, face protection, respiratory equipment and emergency responder equipment to end-customers and channel partner accounts within Bullard’s Industrial Health & Safety and Emergency Responder customer segments.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Proven ability to sell products, determine customer needs for existing and potential products and develop the demand for products. Recommend development of new products to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrates a hunter sales mentality and the ability to bring large end-customer accounts through the sales pipeline process.
  • Proven ability to deliver on the annual inside sales plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage relationships with Bullard’s sales team members.
  • Skilled at lead generation activities using a number of contact data bases.
  • Strong execution through daily contact with end-customers, channel partners, sales representatives and customer service.
  • Establish strategic account plans to create tactics which will ensure growth of key markets/customers in assigned region.
  • Demonstrate a mastery of time and territory management skills, extensive use of Salesforce to record the progress of activities within our sales process for each customer project and proficient at the creation and execution of his/her strategic account plans.
  • Recommend an annual expense plan and operates within an approved expense budget.
  • Handle high impact and complex projects as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • A 4-year degree in business, marketing or similar area and or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with national/regional end-customers and distribution sales within industrial, health & safety and emergency responder markets.
  • Experience analyzing multiple data points to make solid recommendations to improve business results.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and create win-win solutions.
  • History of building and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to react quickly to solve problems along with the ability to learn from mistakes or missteps.
  • Ability to work within a company culture that promotes diversity, inclusion and truly appreciates its employees, customers and vendors.
