Maintenance A


  • Two Year Technical Degree, Industrial Maintenance or related field
  • Minimum 2 years hands on maintenance experience in an industrial setting or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be a highly motivated, self driven team player with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability:

           Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems AC/DC low voltage

           Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems

           Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems

Ability to read and understand schematics for:

           Electrical systems

           Hydraulic systems

           Pneumatic systems

           Electronic systems

  • Industrial Electricity knowledge including high voltage (460 3-phase) and low voltage (24V) systems.            
  • Must be computer literate and proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to safely operate fork lift, boom lift and platform lift
  • Understanding of and commitment to Preventative Maintenance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to be “on call” and rotate shifts as needed
  • Willingness to continually learn and improve skills and knowledge either through in house training, external training or job related technical courses
  • Ability to complete tasks on time and with minimal supervision
  • Basic Skills include; machining, welding, carpentry and plumbing


Main Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment mainly involving but not limited to, Injection Molding Machines, Industrial Sewing Machines and Automated Work Cells
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Tasks on Industrial Equipment
  • Complete Maintenance Requests and Maintenance Projects
  • Organization and Replacement of Spare Parts


Other Duties

  • Maintain Building Equipment and Infrastructure
  • Communicate downtime issues and equipment repair status to appropriate individuals
  • Design and build fixtures and work aids as needed
  • Run and install industrial wiring and controls
  • Run and install compressed air lines
  • Source and purchase supplies and equipment as needed
  • Specification and installation of industrial equipment
  • Endorse safety rules and regulations including LOTO
  • Support Corporate vision, goals and objectives
  • PLC troubleshooting and repair
  • Train maintenance techs, mold techs and operators as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
