Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and design systems and processes for continuous process improvements and reduction and waste elimination
  • Lead and serve on cross-functional product and process development teams
  • Design, specify and install manufacturing equipment, processes, systems and controls
  • Perform time studies
  • Prepare routings and visual work instructions
  • Develop ergonomic systems or processes to promote safe work environments
  • Facilitate corrective action on problems with products, processes or services
  • Troubleshoot and answer technical product questions
  • Provide support and training to Production Associates as necessary

  • Work is performed in both a manufacturing and office setting.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering related field
  • Two years related experience and verifiable success with lean manufacturing, layouts, continuous improvement, work measurement, capital equipment justification, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, team leadership and project management
  • Stable work history
  • Good communication and computer skills including AutoCAD
