Kids College Week

Bullard was thrilled to be a part of the Licking Valley Branch Maysville Community and Technical College’s “Kids College Week.” This year, a class provided during the week-long event was “Marketing the Hard Hat.” The class learned about our Bullard Hard Hats, how to listen to customer needs, and making commercials and print ads. We believe they all deserve an A+!

Beta Club team from Lansdowne Elementary

Bullard hosted the Beta Club team from Lansdowne Elementary on May 1st at the Bullard Center in Lexington. The team participated in product demonstrations and engaged in discussions about the engineering concepts on display. This young group of future engineers also received a tour of the engineering lab.
In addition to hosting the Lansdowne Beta Club, Bullard is also sponsoring a portion of this team’s trip to the National Beta Club competition in June. With the bright minds in this group, we are confident they will represent our city and state well.

UK Engineering Day

The Bullard Product Development Team participated in this year’s Engineering Day hosted by the University of Kentucky’s College of Engineering by developing hands-on demonstrations designed to educate attendees on how our amazing products work. Thousands of up-and-coming STEM children and adolescents were in attendance with amazing turnout in the Bullard booth.

Employees Participate in Shamrock Shuffle

Bullard employees braved the cold on March 16th to participate in the Lexington Shamrock Shuffle. The Shamrock Shuffle is a Lexington St. Patrick’s Day weekend tradition. This 3K race through the streets of downtown is not only a fun event where St. Patrick’s day costumes are more than welcome, it also benefits the Lexington Habitat for Humanity.

Bullard Center opens R&D facility in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Bullard, a global leader in manufacturing personal protective equipment, is opening a research and development facility in Lexington, where marketing and product development teams will collaborate to develop the next generation of Bullard products and services to protect customers.

Bullard Opens New Offices in Germany

Mayor Björn Ingendahl opened the new Bullard office in Remagen, Germany alongside CEO, Wells Bullard and President & COO, Peter Lugo. The new facility will not only help Bullard grow globally but will open new job opportunities in Remagen.

Bullard Fire Helmets in Local Christmas Pageant

Trip Steele, an Area Manager at Bullard, performed in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the Gateway Regional Arts Center in Georgetown, KY. Trip sported one of the donated Bullard Fire Helmets for his firefighter role, alongside his son and daughter.

Bullard Donates to Habitat For Humanity

Bullard was honored to sponsor Habitat for Humanity’s “Habitat Nailed It” event in Cincinnati, Ohio by donating Bullard Hard Hats to the volunteers. Over 500 college students showed up to the event to build framing kits for multiple local home projects in Ohio.

German Red Cross Helmet Donation

Wells Bullard presented Bullard Helmets to members of the German Red Cross, in recognition of their efforts to service their community.

Wells Bullard Kicks Off Record-Breaking Community Meeting

CEO, Wells Bullard, kicked off the Cynthiana-Harrison County Chamber of Commerce Meeting in front of a record-breaking number of business and community leaders. Bullard is proud to work with the Cynthiana-Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.

Senior Citizen Meal Delivery

CEO, Wells Bullard, President & COO, Peter Lugo, and other members of the Bullard Leadership Team volunteer their time to deliver meals for the Harrison County Senior Citizen Center. The center offers free meal delivery to seniors who are otherwise unable to fix meals for themselves. Bullard recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and has volunteered at the center on numerous occasions.

Bullard Co-Hosts Firefighter Training

We had the pleasure to co-host the Flashover and Smoke Recognition Training with Chief Brad Aude and Jeffrey Bryant Jr. Over 120 Firefighters from Hanover Park Fire Department, Carol Stream Fire Protection District, Bartlett Fire Protection District, and Streamwood Fire Department were trained during this 3-day event.

Employees Give Back to Local Animal Shelter

Working together, Bullard employees accumulated over 750 pounds of dog and cat food, as well as over $1,000 in cash, and donated these items to a local animal shelter in Cynthiana, KY. The animal shelter heavily relies on donations to support animals they save.

Harrison County Community Fund’s Park Project

Members of the Bullard Community Involvement Committee presented a charitable donation to the Harrison County Community Fund at Bullard’s Headquarters. The money donated helped the community’s effort in lighting a local park’s pathway to increase public safety.

Bullard Supports Local Non-Profit Organization

Bullard is proud to support the Cynthiana Harrison County Home Assistance’s fundraising efforts. This non-profit organization partners with local families to build or renovate affordable housing within the community. Bullard was honored to be part of this project and by donating shovels, Bullard Hard Hats, and volunteer time.

Wells Bullard Presents to Young Women Engineers

CEO, Wells Bullard, proudly presented to the University of Kentucky’s Society of Women Engineers yesterday. The organization aims to empower women to achieve their full potential in careers such as engineering and future leaders. Wells was the perfect person for the job.
