Your department. Your story. Your shot. 

In the fire service, tradition runs deep. Departments carry history in their stations, in their stories, and in the pride worn on every call. The standards crews live by are shaped over time and carried forward through training, service, and the way firefighters show up for their communities. 

Through a firefighter-led video nomination process, Bullard will outfit one department with up to 25 UST® LowRider helmets, along with custom leather fronts, choice of eye protection, and Bullard swag for the crew. 

Across the country, firefighters will be sharing their department’s story. 

Only one department will walk away with a new fleet. 

Firefighters are invited to submit a short video nominating their own department or another department they respect, sharing why that department needs or deserves a new set of helmets. 

The most powerful submissions are usually the most honest. Videos do not need to be polished or professionally produced. Authenticity matters far more than production quality. 

Departments may speak to growth, aging equipment, department culture, community impact, or pride in the work. What matters most is helping people understand the “why” behind the department and the crew.

The UST LowRider was developed through direct firefighter feedback. Its lightweight traditional design, lower ride profile, and one-piece FireFit® comfort system reflect how firefighters asked a helmet to perform through long shifts, training, and response.

Submit a 30–90 second firefighter-recorded video through the entry link here. 

Winner Notification 

The selected department will be notified by May 8, 2026. 

The Selected Department Will Receive: 

• Up to 25 UST LowRider helmets 
• Custom leather fronts 
• Choice of eye protection 
• Bullard swag for the department
