Tacsight SE35 Camera recognized as example of product that responds to market challenges.

OCTOBER 14, 2007 – CYNTHIANA, KY – Demonstrating the ability to anticipate technology changes and recognizing the importance of product evolvement, Bullard was recently named a 2007 Innovation Awards Finalist in the Surveillance category. Bullard submitted the TacSight® SE35 Camera as an example of a product that responds to current market challenges in law enforcement in a creative and innovative way. After a panel of law enforcement professionals judged hundreds of companies who submitted entries, Bullard was selected as a 2007 Innovation Awards Finalist.

Sponsored by Law Enforcement Technology, Law Enforcement Product News, Enforcement Expo and Officer.com, finalist and winners were recognized at the International Association Chief of Police Conference in New Orleans at the House of Blues on October 14. “It’s an honor to be a finalist out of all the great products that were considered. The SE35’s advanced features and unsurpassed image quality definitely increases the margin of safety for a police officer,” said Bullard Thermal Imaging Product Manager, Brad Harvey. “This type of recognition lets us know we're on the right track for product development.”

Providing high performance imagery and law enforcement designed features in a compact, waterproof thermal imaging camera, the TacSight SE35 proves to be a critical tool in law enforcement built on durability and performance.

A powerful tool for tactical, surveillance and scene assessment applications, the Bullard TacSight SE35 imager enables law enforcement personnel to see heat signatures of objects, people and other sources by detecting extremely small differences in temperature so that officers can distinguish people from their immediate surroundings. Requiring no light to operate, the Bullard TacSight SE35 generates high-quality images, even through smoke and fog.

Utilizing the latest in thermal imaging technology, the Bullard TacSight SE35 features 4X Digital Zoom. This feature provides maximum human form detection at a distance, making the TacSight SE35 a long-range nighttime surveillance tool in zoom mode. Manual focus allows for resolution as close at 18 inches. Incorporating the ability to switch from a “white hot” to a “black hot” image, the Bullard TacSight SE35 illuminates details that might otherwise be overlooked. Display dimming allows display to be dimmed or turned off to prevent detection.
