Bullard Supports Development of New Fire Training Facility in Cynthiana, Kentucky

CYNTHIANA, Ky. — Bullard has contributed $23,000 in support of a new fire training facility planned for Cynthiana, Kentucky. The facility, which is expected to break ground this year, will provide local firefighters with a dedicated space for hands-on training and skills development.

The new training site is designed to give firefighters an environment where they can practice tactics, strengthen coordination, and prepare for real-world fireground conditions. Purpose-built training facilities play a critical role in helping departments maintain readiness, reinforce best practices, and support both new recruits and experienced firefighters throughout their careers.

Community leaders and fire officials gathered to mark the contribution, including representatives from the Cynthiana and Harrison County Fire Departments, city and county leadership, and Bullard executives. The facility is expected to serve as a long-term resource for local and regional fire crews.

“Firefighters are selfless public servants, and we are proud to support efforts that help them strengthen their training and better protect our community,”
-Bullard President & CEO Wells Bullard

Bullard has operated in Cynthiana for more than a century and maintains close ties to the fire service through product development, firefighter collaboration, and community engagement. Supporting firefighter training initiatives reflects a continued commitment to advancing preparedness and capability within the fire service.

The training facility will provide firefighters with opportunities to practice in a controlled setting, helping them build confidence, improve response effectiveness, and adapt to evolving fireground challenges. Additional details on construction timelines and future use of the facility will be shared as the project moves forward.
